This is a photo of my parents first date at the Cork Club in the Shamrock Hilton Hotel in Houston back in 1954 – look at the “look” on my Dad’s face…..!  Dad was an up and coming bootmaker and Mom was on 3 different TV shows a week in Houston during this period…..
