Betty Bowman (July 1962) – There it is on the Chrondek timer – 12/100th of a second…..!  That means she could take a holstered gun from a finger on a button, draw it from the holster, cock the trigger and fire it in approx. one tenth of a second…..  My Dad’s fastest time was 8/100th of a second.  There are a few trophies on top of the TV that we all watched The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show on a little over a year later…  Houston Chronicle File Photo
